Description
Natural Loofah Dish Scrubber is a 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic washing-up sponges. We care about our planet, and our products are plastic-free and micro plastic-free. After using it for about three months, loofah can be tossed into the compost.
What are loofahs made of?
The loofah is a dried-out tropical or subtropical gourd belonging to the genus Luffa (often either species L. aegyptiaca or L. acutangula).
How often should you change your loofah?
If you have a natural loofah, you should replace it every three to four weeks. If you notice any mould growing on your loofah, you should throw it away and get a new one.
Who invented the loofah?
Judson S. Snyder of Brooklyn sewed fibre from the loofah into a device resembling a sock puppet and filed for a patent for the Improved Bathing Mitten in 1889. The plant has been used for centuries by people around the world.
Are Loofahs biodegradable?
All of our products are vegan, biodegradable and plastic-free!
